Craft Fairs for the Crafter

Handy Things to Take to Fairs

We are asked constantly if we have a list of things to take to fairs. So, I've listed below all of the items in our 'Admin' box. If you can think of anything else, please let me know!

Pens (a good selection, for sign writing etc)

Paper

Scissors (small & large)

Sellotape & Blu-Tack

Eraser

Drawing pins & paperclips

Stapler

Bags (various sizes for packing purchased items) & Tissue paper, or bubblewrap, if you need it.

Spare price tags for individual items & spare price tickets for table top. Also, 'sale' or special offer signs.

Note pad (we use ours to list what we've sold & to note down new ideas)

Receipt book (some customers request a receipt)

Table cloth & extra cloth, Table clamps, clothes brush for cloth or textile goods.

Extension leads.

Wet Wipes.

Cups for coffee (some venues don't provide cups, but we provide tea & coffee)

Lockable cash box, or money belt with cash float (we take at least £20 each in various coins/notes)

Business cards and/or leaflets.

Info pack for whichever venue you are attending.

Mobile phone charger, wind up or plug in one if you have a spare socket.

Bit of make up, hairbrush and nail file ( all totally optional!)

Headache tablets (& hayfever pills in Summer)

These are just the things we take, but there are probably other needful things depending on the various crafts.
