No Jewellery Spaces Left At All!
Stow-on-the-Wold is a delightful market town and along with Moreton in Marsh, is perhaps the best known of the small Cotswolds towns.
Stow is an important shopping centre and has many fine Antique shops, Art galleries, Gifts and Interiors shops. In May shop owners showed a significant interest in the items we had for sale and many crafters left with orders from the 'boutique' shops, after cold calling on the proprietors.
We love this little hall. It's very smart and despite being upstairs, we always get a very good footfall through our fairs. The hall is small, with only enough space for 18 tables but this means we have a lovely little niche market. Local people and tourists appreciate the finer crafts, and we always get a good many of the boutique shop owners interested in having our crafters supply their shops!
In 2008 we have three dates available; You may book as many as you like. Jewellery spaces, as always are limited. Please email before booking to ask if spaces are still available! The price per table per date is £40.00.
Saturday June 7th 2008 Summer Fair
Saturday September 13th 2008 Autumn Fair
Saturday November 22nd 2008 Christmas Fair
Stands are approximately 6ft long, and space in this venue has to be organised carefully, so that we can get everyone in. Please ensure that your display doesn’t overflow from the stand size.
Electricity
can be supplied. Sockets are strategically placed and there should be enough for everyone if you bring your extension leads etc.Refreshments Tea and coffee etc will be available for crafters, and there is also the equipment to heat lunches if the weather is very cold.
Parking
There are two car parks in Stow-on-the-Wold. The largest by far is The Fosseway, on the eastern edge of the town, with 100 spaces and it is free of charge. There is a smaller car park by the Maugesbury Road with spaces for 56 cars but you have to pay for this one. There are a lot of free spaces in the market Square. We suggest parking in the Square to unload then moving your car to the free car park. If we can leave the town centre spaces free for visitors we’ll get more custom that way. There are also a number of side streets where parking is free. It has to be said that at last year's May and October Fairs we weren't troubled by traffic wardens on a Saturday, but it may be different throughout the summer season. How to Get There:
