Craft Fairs for the Crafter
Apple Tree Craft Fairs
Bath Guildhall 2010
NEW! Friday Fairs!
Friday November 26th & Friday December 3rd.
We have now booked the Guildhall for two Fridays whilst the Bath Christmas Market is running as we are almost fully booked for our usual Saturdays. Details are exactly the same as the Saturday Fairs.
Saturday 6th November, Friday 26th November, Saturday 27th November, Friday 3rd December and 4th December 2010
9am to 5pm
Interestingly, we expect Friday 26th and Saturday 27th to be our busiest days of year - this is because Friday 26th is the last viable payday of the year for most people. Although there is often another pay right before Christmas it usually comes too late for good Christmas gift shopping!
The Venue
The Brunswick Room, Guildhall, Bath BA1 5AW
It is ideally situated right in the middle of the shops in Bath city centre , and the indoor market is in the same building! On one side there is Bath Abbey and right outside the High Street and The Corridor shopping arcade We are also surrounded by high end shops.
It is to be expected that Bath city centre will be packed to bursting with tourists and shoppers all year round.
We will be in the Brunswick Room on the ground floor of the Guildhall. This is a bigger, brighter and better situated venue than our last one in a church crypt. We'll be able to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room itself and, if I have time to bake, there will also be free cakes/cookies/muffins etc.
Costs
All the tables in the Brunswick cost £45 each and are 6ft by 2ft trestle tables. There are 20 spaces available. If we are fully booked then surrounding space is still very tight, as it was in the Crypt, but not quite as squashed. If we aren't fully booked then we'll all have more space. Electricity can be supplied if needed, please bring long extension leads!
Please email or phone to check availability of spaces before booking!
City Centre Unloading!
This is very important!
As we are right in the centre of Bath, on a Friday/Saturday, we have to be extremely careful about unloading. There is a car park behind the Guildhall solely for the purposes of unloading. It's quite small but much easier than unloading on the street. The Guildhall also have trolleys that we can use to ferry stuff along the two corridors leading from the car park to the Brunswick room.
The nearest long stay car park is the one in Charlotte Street about 10 minutes walk away. I believe that Waitrose's car park is a very expensive short stay, so parking there all day will seriously eat into one's profits.
We hope to be at the Guildhall by 8.00 am on all days.
